You do not need a big team. Here is a practical, repeatable content plan any small business can follow.

Content marketing sounds like a big commitment, but the basics are simple: answer the questions your customers already have, consistently, in places they will find them.

Step 1: List the questions customers ask

Start with your sales calls, WhatsApp chats and emails. Write down every question you hear. These are your best topics, because real people are already asking them.

Step 2: Pick two or three content pillars

Group questions into themes, such as “how it works”, “pricing and choosing” and “success stories”. Pillars keep your content focused and recognisable.

Step 3: Choose realistic formats and frequency

  • One helpful blog article or guide each fortnight
  • Two to three social posts a week that repurpose that article
  • One email a month with your best content and an offer

Step 4: Add a clear next step

Every piece should invite action: call, WhatsApp, request a quote or subscribe. Content without a next step is just reading.

Step 5: Review monthly

Check which pieces brought visitors, enquiries or replies, and make more of those. Retire what does not work.

Consistency beats intensity. A modest plan you can keep up for a year outperforms a big burst that fades after a month.

If you would rather hand it over, our team can plan, write and publish for you.
